You can also dive into the settings menu to configure video resolutions, frame rates, and other parameters. All that said, the app's experience is rather inconsistent, as some functions like volume controls and motion detection are hit-or-miss.

All in all, Background Video Recorder Pro is an okay option if you're looking for a way to record videos discreetly with your device or use it as a makeshift dash cam for your car.
